Introduction:
As you already know, SkinUP needs your DS or DS lite system to have a working WiFi connection correctly configured.

We suggest you to setup your DS or DS lite WiFi connection using any commercial game that support WiFi gaming.

In these pages we will not explain how to do this process but you can easily found it using Google or there.

Requirements:
Like a lot of other homebrew, SkinUP needs DLDI patching to access to the FAT of your card. Hovewer the Supercard DS One support autodldi patching so it's useless to make the manual patching process.

The only thing to do is simply to copy the file skinup.nds anywhere on your memory card, make sure Patch Mode is Enable and then run it.

Let's begin!
After the quick loading screen you get at SkinUP startup, you will have 2 choices :

1. Browse the local skins folder (scshell/skin)
2. Browse the remote server skins database

Browsing local skins folder

In this part of the software, you can organize your personal skin archive by browsing all the skins available on your mc.
The main functions of this "skins-browser" are:

- Move skins to "scschell/temp_skin" folder to free some slots to let you download and keep more than 10 Skins on your MC (limits restricted by OS3.0 SP4)
- Delete skins to free space
- Check skin preview to make sure it deals with the wanted skin

Simply use the d-pad and the action-pad to operate. Instructions are displayed on the upper screen.

Browsing remote server skins database

If you choose to browse the remote skins database, you will have them displayed by Categories..

You can select a category and take a look at any skin listed inside thoses categories.

By pressing A, you will display the selected skin preview (upper screen), skin name, Author name, date of creation/upload and comments will be detailed on the lower screen.

By pressing A one more time, the downlaod process will start.

SkinUP will download,unzip and install the skin automatically, just watch him work

Now you have to turn off your DS and select through the menu the skin you want to use.

Run SkinUP anytime you need to manage your skins or download new ones from the remote database

Copying skins from your PC to your MC after you searched and downloaded them from the internet is history...
